	My brother Dennis passed away December 31st, 2004, suddenly and tragically in an automobile accident near his East Aurora, N.Y. home. As I write this tribute, a few months have now passed. The O’Neill and the Buccella family members and friends have reluctantly moved on with our lives, keenly aware of the huge void, the gaping space in our lives left by Dennis’ untimely departure. I know that a pain this deep may never go away. I fear the sense of loss will always be with us. I am just starting to realize that accepting this painful reality is how one goes about ‘getting on with your life.’ If you knew him, you know Dennis was an outstanding family man, a level headed, quick witted, kind, smart, talented and very funny fellow. Unfortunately, he was just the kind of person who had everything to live for. It was always obvious he loved Sue and Lauren from the bottom of his heart and provided for them a wonderful caring home. He could cook a great meal and build a patio deck. Often on the same day! Dennis’ other full time family was his colleagues and fellow construction workers at the Cato Construction Company. I realized, while meeting some of these fine people at Dennis’ wake how deeply they cared for him, how important he was to the company and how shocked...
